Gayathri Mullapudi – Events Director- YHGH

Gayathri Mullapudi was born in India but moved to Houston when she was 6 months and has been a Houstonian for over 20 years. She is going to be an undergraduate senior at the University of Houston studying her B.S. in Economics. She and her family have been ardent devotees of Sri Ganapathi Sachidananda Swamiji of Mysore and has been associated with Datta Yoga Center, Houston chapter for more than 16 years and has been one of the Youth Leaders, leading and being a part of satsang sessions. She is a trained Carnatic singer who loves singing and teaching bhajans to young children. In her free time, she loves painting, playing badminton, volunteering and spending time with her family. By taking up the responsibility of Events Director for YHGH, she hopes to be a part of and lead many successful YHGH events and involve as many Hindu youngsters into embracing their heritage and cultural roots.
